Getting Started & TestFlight
TestFlight is Apple's official app for beta testing. It lets you try AttuneUP before it's publicly available on the App Store. TestFlight is free to download and use. Just open our invite link on your iPhone, install TestFlight if prompted, and tap "Accept" to get the app.
Visit our TestFlight invite link on your iPhone. If you don't have TestFlight installed, you'll be directed to download it first (it's free). Once installed, open the invite link again, tap "Accept," and AttuneUP will install automatically.
Not yet. We're currently in beta on iOS through TestFlight. Android support is on our roadmap and we'll announce availability when it's ready. In the meantime, if you have access to an iPhone or iPad, you can join the beta there.
Make sure you're opening the link on an iPhone or iPad running iOS 16 or later. TestFlight links don't work on desktop browsers. If it still isn't working, the beta may have reached its tester limit temporarily. Email us at support@attuneup.us and we'll sort it out.
Using the App
AttuneUP is a communication coaching app for couples. You start by completing a short questionnaire based on well-established relationship research. The app builds a personalized communication profile for you, and then helps you translate difficult messages before you send them to your partner, coaching you toward clearer, more empathetic communication.
The basic assessment has 57 questions and typically takes about 10-15 minutes. There's no time limit — take as long as you need. Answer honestly for the most accurate profile. A premium assessment with additional frameworks is also available for deeper insight.
Yes! Once you've both created accounts and completed the questionnaire, one partner can send an invite from the Settings tab. The other partner accepts the invite to link your accounts. Once linked, the app can tailor translations to your specific communication styles, and you'll unlock a couples relationship dynamics profile.
You have full control over what your partner can see. When linking accounts, you choose which profile sections to share through granular toggle switches. The app uses your communication style data to improve translations, but your detailed profile text is only visible to your partner if you opt in.
Account & Privacy
Yes. Your questionnaire answers, profile, and conversations are private to your account. We use AI to generate profiles and translate messages, which means some data is processed by our AI provider. We don't sell your data or use it for advertising. For the full details, see our Privacy Policy.
You can delete your account directly in the app. Go to the Settings tab and tap "Delete Account" at the bottom of the page. You'll be asked to confirm twice to make sure it's intentional. This permanently removes your account and all your data — your profile, conversations, and partner link. If you're unable to access the app, you can also email us at support@attuneup.us with the subject line "Account Deletion Request" and we'll handle it for you.
During the beta, password resets are handled manually. Email us at support@attuneup.us with your username and we'll help you get back in. If you signed up with Apple Sign In, you can log in again using the same Apple ID without a password.
Troubleshooting
First, make sure you have the latest version. Open TestFlight and check for updates. If the issue persists, try closing and reopening the app. If you're still experiencing problems, email us at support@attuneup.us with a brief description of what happened, and we'll investigate.
Profile generation uses AI and can take up to a minute to complete. If the progress bar hasn't moved after two minutes, try closing and reopening the app. Your questionnaire answers are saved, so you won't need to retake it. If the problem continues, let us know at support@attuneup.us.
Both partners need to have an account and a completed questionnaire before linking. One partner sends an invite from the Settings tab using the other partner's username. The other partner then accepts the invite from their own Settings tab. Make sure the username is entered exactly as it appears (it's case-sensitive). If you're still stuck, email support@attuneup.us.
